Mutual Funds (pvt) complete 25 years in India. What started with Kothari Pioneer in 1993 has now become a Rs 25 trillion industry. In 2011–12 when naysayers were writing-off the MF industry, many fund managers stuck and kept patience. 2009 to 2012 was not a period too many senior MF professionals would really relish. But what a come-back in 2014! Hope to see it becoming a Rs 50 trillion market by 2025. A small attempt by Proact to recap some key events.
